| J. Alexander Bralley, PhD
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Bralley received his doctorate in Medical Sciences from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1980. As founder of Metametrix (1984), he has been instrumental in developing nutritional/metabolic analyses and application guidelines for 20 years. He is a member of several professional organizations for nutrition and laboratory science and sits on the editorial review boards for Alternative Medicine Review and Integrative Medicine - A Clinician's Journal. In conjunction with Dr. Richard Lord he wrote the landmark book, Laboratory Evaluations in Molecular Medicine. He has served on the executive board for the Clinical Nutrition Certification Board and on the certification exam review board for International and American Association for Clinical Nutrition. He is also a clinical laboratory director licensed by state and federal laboratory agencies.

Carolyn Bralley
President
As co-founder of Metametrix, Carolyn has been actively involved in developing the company's organizational structure and management team since its inception in 1984. With an intimate knowledge of all aspects of the company and the integrative/functional medicine industry, she oversees the company operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. With an MA from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, she claims to have earned an MBA from the "University of Hard Knocks" through the lessons she has learned from helping to grow Metametrix from a start-up, family business to one that plays a significant leadership role in the industry today.

Joseph Pellegrino
CFO and Director, Human Resources
Joseph Pellegrino received a BS in Chemistry from Manhattan College and graduate training in Clinical Chemistry from the University of Dayton. He further pursued a background in Accounting and General Management with an MBA from the University of Kentucky. Before joining Metametrix in 2003, Joe established himself with over 30 years of experience in senior financial and operations positions in clinical laboratories, including six years as an owner and CFO of a regional laboratory, eight years with Corning Clinical Laboratories (now Quest Diagnostics), three years with Cytometry Associates (now Labcorp). Joe is also an active member of the Financial Executives International and Financial Executives Networking Group organizations. Joe is an avid reader of American History and mysteries, as well as an accomplished gardener and running coach for the Galloway Half Marathon training program.

Robert M. David, PhD
Laboratory Director
Dr. David received his doctorate in Biochemistry from Creighton Medical School in Omaha and did his post-doctoral training at the Wake-Forrest Medical Center. He served as technical director for Damon/Metpath/Corning/Quest laboratories and for Quintiles, a pharmaceutical testing laboratory. He joined Metametrix in 1996 as Laboratory Director and is instrumental in developing new laboratory procedures for clinical tests, quality control, laboratory automation and the integration of new assays from research into the clinical laboratory.

Stephen Wickham Director, Marketing and Business Development
Working in the healthcare industry for more than three decades, Steve has wide-ranging pharmaceutical, diagnostic, biotechnology, and association marketing and management experience, both domestically and internationally. In addition, he owned his own consulting firm for several years. He has led the marketing team at Metametrix since 2000, helping to shape the company's image and message. Steve received his BA in Biology and Chemistry from Eastern Michigan University, and completed graduate studies in Marketing and Management at both Eastern Michigan University and Georgia State University. |

Richard S. Lord, PhD
Director, Science and Education
Dr. Lord received his BS in Chemistry from Georgia State University and his PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Texas in 1970. He then went on to complete postdoctoral fellowships at the Clayton Foundation Biochemical Institute, the University of Arizona, and the National Institute of Health. He served as president for Doctor's Data and Horizon Laboratories from 1974-1981. For the next eight years, Dr. Lord was a Professor and Chairman in the Department of Chemistry for Life University where he was instrumental in the initiation and design of a BS degree in Nutritional Science. Dr. Lord joined Metametrix in 1989 and has been actively involved in the development of new testing methodologies and innovative laboratory report combinations. In addition to co-authoring the book, Laboratory Evaluations in Molecular Medicine, Dr. Lord also publishes technical articles, lectures, and consults with health professionals regarding the application of nutritional, metabolic assays to patient care. Over the past three years, Dr. Lord has also become an active participant in the Defeat Autism Now! Think Tank, and the MINDD Foundation Think Tank, based in Sydney, Australia.

Deana Emery
Director, Laboratory Production
Deana Emery received an AS in Dietary Technology from St. Petersburg Junior College in 1975 and a BS in Clinical Chemistry from the University of South Florida in 1979. Deana worked for Quest Diagnostics for over 17 years, starting out as a Chemistry Technician and finishing up as a Laboratory Manager. She also spent seven years working for Dade Behring as a Quality, Training and Customer Service Supervisor before joining Metametrix in 2003 as the Laboratory Production Director. She is certified by NCA as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in Chemistry.

Tony Hoffman ,MLT, ASCP
Director, Sales and Product Support
Tony began his functional medicine laboratory career in 1993 working first as a lab technician and then moving into technical support. In 1999 he co-founded Advanced Access Laboratory, a specialty lab focusing on stool analysis. He sold the lab in 2001 and worked with the company four additional years doing education, sales and research. He came to Metametrix in the fall of 2006 to begin preparing for the new GI Effects line of stool analysis. With the launch complete, he now provides product support to the lab and heads the sales department. In his free time he enjoys playing golf and traveling.
